By using EmergePDF, you agree to these terms. They're written to be readable — not to hide anything.

EmergePDF is a free online toolkit for processing PDF files — splitting, merging, compressing, converting to Word, and filling or signing. It's provided free of charge, with no uptime guarantees.

You can use EmergePDF for any lawful purpose. You agree not to:

• Upload files you don't have the right to process
• Use the service to handle content that's illegal in your jurisdiction
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the service
• Use automated tools to send bulk requests in a way that degrades the service for others

You own your files. We don't claim any rights to them. Files are deleted immediately after processing — or in the case of Fill PDF, never leave your browser at all.

EmergePDF is provided "as is." We make no guarantees about uptime, the accuracy of file conversions, or that the service will be available at any given time. If you're processing something important, keep your original file.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, EmergePDF's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid — which is zero.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
